The “amickADVENTUREband!” will be performing a concert event at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Chapin on Friday, January 30 at 7:00pm. The band consists of three brothers: Nathan (age 11, keyboard), Caleb (age 9, guitar), and Eli (age 7, bass).
This event is free to the public and attendees will have the option of donating to the Amick Adoption Fund.
Their father, Jeremy Amick, a 1992 graduate of Chapin High School, assists the band. Jeremy played in the Chapin bands from 5th-12th grade and earned a college degree in music. He now serves as a pastor of a Charlotte area church. Jeremy is married to Angela and they have four boys. Grandparents of the band members are Albert and Betty Jo Amick of Little Mountain.
The amickADVENTUREband! was formed recently as an idea by the boys to raise funds for their family’s adoption. The Amicks are pursuing the adoption of a three year old girl with special needs from China.
Concert attendees will have an opportunity to donate to their fund with the America World Adoption Association. More information is provided on their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/amickadventureband).
